Donald Ford

On Tuesday the 4th February, we are delighted to be able to welcome Donald Ford back to the club to offer his expert appraisal of some of our images, and also speak about his own photography. Donald has been to the club a number of times, and those who have been to previous evenings will know how entertaining he is.

This season, we will ask Donald to give us some feedback on digital images, so please submit a couple of images to the usual bpscomps@gmail.com address for him to view.

A former professional footballer AND cricketer, he has represented Scotland in both sports. He made 254 appearances for Hearts in the 60s and 70s, then going on to captain West Lothian Cricket Club in the late 70s.

Donald then turned his attention to photography, as a professional landscape photographer, specialising in photographing golf courses.

He has a real talent for public speaking and entertaining, and these evenings are as good fun as they are constructive.

Last season there was an unfortunate clash with a Charlie Waite lecture in Dundee, and the attendance was quite poor, so hopefully we can make up for it with a bumper audience this season.
